Applications are invited from Indian citizens (male & female) for filling up the post of Constable (GD) under Sports Quota for the year 2016-17 & 2017-18 in Sashastra Seema Bal, Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs. The post is temporary, but likely to be continued. Selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India or outside the territory of India and will be governed by SSB Act and Rules. the closing date of receipt of application 30 days (31st July 2017) from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News.

3. Education: - Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.

4. Qualification: - Players who have participated in any International Sports events as a member of the Indian Squad for last 01 (One) year and players who have won medal(s) in any National Games/ Championships recognized by Indian Olympic Association, Sports Federation of (concerned sport) for last 01 (One) year
4. योग्यता: - पिछले 1 (एक) वर्ष के लिए भारतीय दस्ते के सदस्य के रूप में किसी भी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्पोर्ट्स इवेंट में भाग लेने वाले खिलाड़ी और खिलाड़ियों ने पिछले 1 (एक) वर्ष के लिए भारतीय ओलंपिक संघ, स्पोर्ट्स फेडरेशन (संबंधित खेल) द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त किसी भी राष्ट्रीय खेल / चैंपियनशिप में पदक जीते हैं।
5. Age Limit: - 18 to 23 years (Age Relaxation in all reserve categories as per Govt. Rules )

6. FEE PAYABLE AND MODE OF PAYMENT:
The General and OBC category candidates should pay fee of `100/-(Rupees One hundred only) (Non-Refundable) in the form of IPO/Demand Draft/Banker Cheque.
IPO/Demand Draft/ Banker Cheque should be prepared in favour of following:- IPO should be prepared in favour of Accounts Officer, FHQ, SSB, New Delhi payable at New Delhi.
Demand Draft / Banker Cheque should be prepared in favour of Accounts Officer, FHQ, SSB, New Delhi payable at State Bank of India, R.K. Puram, New Delhi (Branch Code-01076).
SC/ST & Female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.
6. भुगतान शुल्क और भुगतान का मोड:

7. HOW TO APPLY:-
(i) LAST DATE:-
(a) 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News for the candidates residing at places other than the areas mentioned in para 7 (i) (b) below.
(b) 45 days for the candidates residing in North Eastern States, Sikkim, Pangi Sub Division of Chamba, Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur Districts of Himachal Pradesh, Leh & Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir and the Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshdweep.
(ii) Eligible and desirous candidates should send their application form duly filled in the prescribed format addressed to the Assistant Director (Sports) Force Hqr. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), East Block-V, R.K.Puram, New Delhi – 110066 so as to reach on or before the last date of receipt of application. The envelope containing application must be superscribed in block letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (GD) UNDER SPORTS QUOTA – 2016-17 & 2017- 18”.
(iii) Candidates are required to enclose the photocopies of following documents while sending the application:-
(a) Self attested copy of matriculation certificate.
(b) Self attested copies of sports certificates/achievements.
(c) Two self attested recent passport size photographs, one pasted on the application form (Annexure-I) at the space provided and the other to be enclosed with the application form.
(d) Self attested copy of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure-II) or (Annexure-III) as applicable.
(e) Self attested copy of community certificate issued from concerned district authorities for getting relaxation in height and chest.
(f) Demand Draft/IPO/Banker Cheque of Rs. 100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) (Non- Refundable).
(g) Self attested copy of certificate of Bonafide/Domicile /Permanent resident of that State from designated revenue authorities not below the rank of Tehsildar for verification of citizenship of India.
(h) Three Self-addressed envelopes of 11.5 cms x 27.5 cms with postage stamps worth `25/- (Rupees twenty-five only) to be affixed on each envelope.
7. आवेदन कैसे करे:-
(I) अंतिम तिथि: -
(ए) नीचे पैरा 7 (i) (बी) में उल्लेखित क्षेत्रों के अलावा अन्य जगहों पर रहने वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए रोजगार समाचार में इस विज्ञापन के प्रकाशन की तारीख से 30 दिन।
(बी) पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों, सिक्किम, चंबा, लाहौल और स्पीति और किन्नौर जिले, हिमाचल प्रदेश, लेह एवं लद्दाख, जम्मू और कश्मीर और अंडमान निकोबार द्वीप समूह और लक्षद्वीप के संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए 45 दिन ।
(Ii) पात्र और इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों को अपने आवेदन पत्र को उचित निदेशालय से संबंधित निदेशक (खेल) बल को सौंपा जाएगा। सशस्त्र सीमा बाल (एसएसबी), ईस्ट ब्लॉक-वी, आर.के.पूराम, नई दिल्ली -110066, ताकि आवेदन प्राप्त होने की अंतिम तिथि पर या उससे पहले तक पहुंचे। खेल वाले लिफाफा को ब्लॉक पत्रों में "स्पोर्ट्स क्वोटा - 2016-17 और 2017-18" के तहत कॉन्स्टेबल (जीडी) के लिए आवेदन के रूप में वर्णित किया जाना चाहिए।
(Iii) उम्मीदवारों को आवेदन भेजने के दौरान निम्नलिखित दस्तावेजों की फोटोकॉपी संलग्न करना आवश्यक है: -
(ए) मैट्रिकुलेशन प्रमाण पत्र की स्वप्रमाणित प्रति।
(बी) खेल प्रमाण पत्र / उपलब्धियों की स्वयं साक्ष्य प्रतियां
(सी) दो स्व-प्रमाणित हालिया पासपोर्ट साइज फ़ोटोग्राफ़, एक आवेदन फॉर्म पर चिपकाया गया (अनुलग्नक-I) प्रदान की गई जगह और अन्य को आवेदन पत्र के साथ संलग्न किया जाना है।
(डी) अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति / अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग प्रमाण पत्र की निर्धारित प्रतिलिपि (अनुलग्नक -II) या (अनुलग्नक- III) की स्वयं साक्षांकित प्रतिलिपि जैसा लागू हो।
(ई) ऊँचाई और छाती में छूट पाने के लिए संबंधित जिला प्राधिकरणों से जारी समुदाय प्रमाण पत्र की स्वयं साक्ष्य प्रति
(एफ) डिमांड ड्राफ्ट / आईपीओ / बैंकर चेक रु। 100 / - (केवल एक सौ सौ रुपये) (गैर-वापसीयोग्य)
(जी) भारत की नागरिकता के सत्यापन के लिए तहसीलदार के रैंक के नीचे निर्दिष्ट राजस्व प्राधिकारियों से उस राज्य के बोनाफाइड / निवासिक / स्थायी निवासी प्रमाण पत्र की स्व-प्रमाणित प्रति।
(एच) प्रत्येक लिफाफे पर लगाए जाने वाले `25 / - (केवल पच्चीस रुपये) मूल्य के डाक टिकटों के साथ 11.5 सेमी x 27.5 सेमी के तीन आत्म-संबोधित लिफाफे।
